I am planning a visit 4-6th June. Can anybody recommend a centrally located hotel 50-60Euro/night.
If coming from Helsinki, which are the present ferry options?
Is there any food specialities one should try.

Try the bear meat (for example, at Ye Olde Hansa - corny but fun).
The cheapest fast ferry (1½h) is Linda Line. Eckerö Line and Tallink have cheaper 3h services. Viking Line has a 2h service that is a good compromise. Check out their websites to see which timetable suits your plans best.

Thank you, I will check their sites.

If I don%26#39;t stay with friends I now stay at the Reval Hotel Central, which is just outside the Old Town.

I just checked for your dates, and they have a regular rate of 59.00 Euros and also have a %26quot;Super Saver Rate%26quot; of 29 Euros!
Reval Hotels run specials from time to time.

I also recommend the Reval Hotel Central and always use it on my regular trips to Tallinn. It%26#39;s clean and straightforward with helpful staff. Don%26#39;t be put off by the rather odd location beside a car park!
They have some excellent offers at the moment and the Old Town is an easy walk one way with the sea front and Kadriorg an easy walk in the other direction.

Tallinn has finally invested into a decent tourist site. Makes our lives here in Tripadvisor a tiny bit easier. Try hotel search at: …tallinn.ee/fpage/…facilities
I hope they%26#39;ll add a currency converter soon. Until then - 5o/60 € price range is category C.

Try the hotel portus. When you get off the ferry it is right in front of you. From there tho old town is just a 10 minute walk.We stayed there in January and found it very clean with a good breakfast.
Good Luck its a beautifull city
