Will be in Tallinn for three or four days in early July and it will be my first visit there.
Consequently, I would like some suggestions for some unique or quintessential gifts from Tallinn.
I usually like shopping in museum or gallery stores as the money goes back to help the institution and I can find some interesting things there, and started to really like vintage and antique shopping. All the recipients like useful or purposeful things (no dust collecting knicknacks, and because they are travelers themselves, want something that can%26#39;t be found anywhere else. I especially like items that can easily fit into a small carry-on bag for the long journey home.
Thank you in advance.

Will give you an idea of types of things you may find or look for.

Amber is not a local product in Estonia. Most of it is imported from the Kaliningrad (Russian) enclave on the Baltic.

JTF is right, the amber is imported as are alot of the handicrafts. If you are looking for authentic Estonian wares, here is a link that might interest you:

If I wanted to buy amber products, which country then would be the best for it?

Go to Poland or Russia for Amber.
