Money for one day

Hi, can anyone give a rough estimate of how much we could need for 6 - 7 hours in Tallin. We will be on a cruise and intend on doing our own walking tour so will only need money for lunch ( would like to try a traditional estonian meal) and maybe an afternoon coffee, and then some small souveniers i.e fridge magnets etc, any suggestions welcome

Use credit cards.

Paying credit card is good suggestion... Also you can take some EUR with you if you want tip somewhere... Also I am quite sure that even if there is a shop in old town where card payment is impossible then they accept euros or dollars :)

Thank you for your replies. I was trying to assertain if approx €50 would be a sufficient amount to exchange to krooni ( approx 750 )for the events mentioned above ? Many thanks

Fifty euros will be enough for what you mention. Check out the menus outside the restaurant to be sure you stay on budget as some are a good deal pricier. Most of what makes Tallinn such an attractive destination is free - the winding streets of the Old Town and Toompea Hill.
