Time in Tallinn?

Does anyone have any recommendations on how long to stay in Tallinn? Is it a day trip, a night or 2 nights? Thanks!

Presumably you are visiting Tallinn as part of a wider tour of the Baltic region or perhaps Europe generally. In which case how long is your whole trip and how many %26quot;spare%26quot; days do you have?

Tallinn old town is quite small and it is possible to visit most of it in a day. A longer stay will give you an opportunity to explore slightly wider and visit Kadroig Park and the surrounding areas.

Tallinn is certainly worthy of at least 2 nights but it really depends on the rest of your schedule.

I suggest at least 3 days - then you get at least some overview also... Of course it is depending what you are interested fo...

The most efficient would be if you stay 3 days and the 4th day use it as a base to store your luggage and make a day trip to Helsinki. I would recommend to visit the art museum KUMU, Kadriorg, Rocc al Mare open air museum(if the weather is good), Do some bird watching in Paljasaare (now is very good time), Go to the jail :)(museum) %26quot;Patarei vangla%26quot;, Go out and have fun ;)
