My husband and I were going to return to Krakow where we have been a few times but he pursuaded me to expand our horizons and we are not booked to go to Tallinn. We arrive on Friday 4th December and leave the following Monday and are staying at the Swisshotel.
Any recommendations on what are the must sees? I know the days are short so want to make sure we fit in all we can.
Also the two of us are massive foodies. What are your must go to restaurants. Price no object but we do like to make sure we get value for money and would prefer to try local cuisine rather than international.
Finally any special bars you would say we should visit. We are decending slowly into middle age and love a good drink with locals but are kind of past the club scene.
Thanks for any advice

Do some basic research, of course. The Old Town is where the majority of sights are and there are plenty of nice bars and restaurants too.
I suggest you get a heap of brochures from the tourist information office and peruse them in leisurely fashion over lunch or a few beers. You won%26#39;t be short of things to do for a few days, all or mostly within walking distance.
Dress warmly as December is not the kindest month in these parts.

Some cafees/(restaurants) that I would recomend are:
Reval cafe- the one with a big pot outside in the Old Town (I think the adress is Vene 1)
Kehrweider cafe- quite small cafe, candlelights, good cakes and coffee., a charming place.
Tristian %26amp; Isolde- at Raekoja place, centre in Old Town
My advice will be to take a look at inyourpocket.com and read about cafes in Tallinn there. If I remember right it%26#39;s said that if you lived one year in Tallinn and visited a new cafe/restaurant every day. You would still have some to visit when the year has gone.
