Also what is the weather usually in early March and what things are there to do in Tallin?

Hi Tabitha.... we%26#39;re visiting Tallin early march and staying at the baltic imperial, must say my first choice was the merchant house,but they were totally full for 2 out of our 3 night stay but it would be worth seeing if they still have the special winter package available on their site...I%26#39;m told it%26#39;s going to be very very cold, so getting the thermals ready1!!
I found this site to check out things to do
www.igougo.com/travelcontent/journal.aspx…
there%26#39;s also a live web cam site, maybe google that or try and do a search on this forum.
I also emailed the tourist board tand they posted me lots of infomration

email address Tallinna Turismiinfokeskus %26lt;turismiinfo@tallinnlv.ee%26gt;
hope you manage to find some good information.. and have a great time..

I have stayed at the Reval Hotel Central, and I liked it very much. It is on the edge of the Old Town and is moderately-priced. You can walk everywhere from this hotel.

it depends on your budget.There are some fab little hotels in old town ranging from budget to 5 star.
Other TA member%26#39;s suggestion regarding the Tallinn web page is a good place to start to look and research. Also look on TA for the reviews. We stayed at The Three Sisters Hotel which is not cheap but it was worth every cent.
Tallinn is a beautiful place to visit, so have fun !!
What to do...just hang around OLd Town there is heaps of excellent restaurants/cafes and bars to explore not to mention the shopping. You can also take the hop on/hop off bus around Tallinn to get a little history and see a few other attractions.

Any questions - just ask.

Uniquestay Tallinn is a good hotel - stayed there in October. It%26#39;s cheap, and it%26#39;s only a 5 minute walk from the old town. It%26#39;s got free internet in all the rooms, too - very handy for finding things to do.
If your boyfriend likes beer, the Beer House is well worth a visit - they brew their own beer, and the ones that I had were all really nice. Food%26#39;s good too, but only if you like lots of meat!

We have just come back from staying at The Baltic Imperial, which is a lovely hotel in a fantastic location.
Tallinn Old Town is perfect for wandering and exploring. We also went to the museum of occupation which was very interesting, and then another day we caught the ferry across to Helsinki.
Enjoy your trip.
