Anniversary --4 Days -- Tallin?

We have only a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Thinking of Tallin because of its history, architecture, and nitelife. Are 4 days/5 nites too short/long a stay? Should we plan on a day trip from Tallin?

Oops . . . that%26#39;s Tallinn.

Hi PacePace,

4 days is perfect to visit Tallinn and the surrounding areas. I would also recommend a day trip to Helsinki. You can either catch the helicopter, fast boat or slow boat to Helsinki.

Thanks! Sounds great. How long is the trip to Helsinki?

Hi

There are several ferry companies who sail from Tallinn to Helsinki, Ekeroline, Tallink (my favourite), Nordic Jetline, Lindaline and Vikingline. The trip can take anything from about five hours down to less than two hours. It just depends on whether the sailing is the important part of the trip or the time spent in Helsinki.

Four days is absolutely not to long to spend in Tallinn, we are slow tourists and find that six nights suits us just fine. There is so much to see there that even though we%26#39;ve been lots of times before we still always find something new to enjoy with each visit.

Tallinn is a great place for a romantic anniversary break. There%26#39;s lots to do in the capital but you could take a day trip to Helsinki or to the Estonian islands. It is easy to find a hotel yourself but if it%26#39;s an anniversary, I%26#39;d suggest taking an organized short break, so you don%26#39;t have to worry about transfers or anything else and you%26#39;d get expert advice. Try the local www.travelmerchant.eu for instance, I know they offered a romantic break just a while ago.

Have a good trip!
