What to do and where to stay?

After New Year with my wife planning to visit Tallinn. Heard lot of good things about Estonia. I am really excited!

Does anybody has good tips where to stay and what to do for 3-4 days? Does it cold in January?

Thanks,

I loved Tallinn and visited recently and had a fabulous stay at the Three Sisters Hotel. Its not cheap but its worth every cent......my review.

What is the price range you would be willing to pay for a hotel or apt? - would be easier to recomment!

take a look at Imperial Baltic they do some special offers.

I know the three sisters is expensive, I did however pick up a brochure whilst walking the streets of Tallinn Old Town......these apartments looked interesting to me, we often stay in apartments whilst traveling and thought you never know who may ask about apartments in Tallinn !

oops, there is another web-page mentioned on the leaflet.

www.briston.eu tel : +372 699 9670, 699 0900 (seems like a lot of numbers) but that%26#39;s whats on the brochure.

Thanks for all. I will try better to book an apartment then a hotel!

If I am not staying with friends in Tallinn, then I stay at the Reval Hotel Central. Moderately-priced and right on the edge of the Old Town.

Reval Hotels have a couple other properties in Tallinn, but I like this one ---- because of location.

And you ask if it gets cold in Tallinn in January????? Bitter cold!
