I am planning a week-10 days trip to Estonia at the end of July - beginning of August. We are going with 3 children (15, 13, 9 years old) and we want to find a nice place to stay for a week - preferably by a lake, with forest, berries and mushroom picking, fishing etc.
Can somebody give me a good recommendation?
Thanks in advance,
Ari

Well...as in Estonia 50% of its area is covered with forest and here are many lakes/rivers, it%26#39;s not difficult to find a place matching with those 2 criteria. I could name a few where I have been to, but they are in Central-Southern Estonia.

As I am not familiar with the country - is there anything wrong with Central-Southern Estonia?
If not, I%26#39;ll be very grateful for some places. Is it possible to swim in lakes or is it too cold?

Hi Ari,
I woud love to reccommend you some places to stay, but would it be ok for you we continue this by e-mail? To discuss which place is better for you and how big is your budget for this vacation in order to reccommend a type of accommodation.
I could help you with bookings if nessessary.
You can send me an email jaana@iceberg.ee

...and Ari, if you let me to help you with bookings, don`t be afraid that it`s gonna cost you more. Just other way around, the price is just the same as you get from the owners, even cheaper because I`m a loyal customer for many places in Estonia and get extra price. Also transport to your vacation place and back will be organized.
p.s my daughter is 11, maybe a good local friend for your kids..
with best wishes,
Jaana
