Foreign Currencies

Hi I will be in Tallinn for only one day and would like to know if Euro%26#39;s are accepted in the city or just the local currency.

Hi Mary,

I%26#39;m a local Estonian and can assure you that you can%26#39;t use EUR. The rate to change EUR for Estonian kroon is around 1EUR=15.57 EEK. Currency exchanges at the airport deal with a bit higher rates than in banks, but in banks they charge a commissiom. You can change AUD%26#39;s into EEK too.
