Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania

I am looking to do a trip for 7days. Would appreciate any advice. If someone know of any tours we can do from UK.

Another place I was thinking about was Copenhagen. Any ideas?? What other countries can one visit from Copenhagen via train/ferry?? I have been to Sweden and Norway.

Your question is off-puttingly vague, but I shall try to answer part of it.

If by tours you mean packages, no, but it could be worth your while to check out budget airlines (Easyjet, Ryanair) for cheap access to the Baltic capitals. The Baltics are small and you can see quite a lot in seven days. Travelling around by public transport is quite easy.

If you%26#39;re going to Copenhagen and aren%26#39;t interested in Sweden or Norway, I%26#39;d suggest you explore Denmark rather than run around adding to your list of visited countries. A jaunt to Roskilde (Viking ship museum) or Helsingör (%26quot;Hamlet%26#39;s%26quot; castle) will make a nice day out.

Thanks for the advise. Apologise if my question was of-puttingly vague... I just wanted to know if possible to visit various Baltic countries in few days. I looked at some tours with different companies, but found them very expensive. Is it possible for my and my mom to make our own trip?? If you say public transport is good, do you mean transport in the country or from one country to another?? My mom is South-Africa (as am I) does she need a passport if we only visit Estonia?

Thank you for your help.

You most certainly can make your own trip, and 7 days will give you at least a fair taste of the Baltic countries. To maximise your travel time/destination time, though, you might consider limiting yourselves to two of the three countries.

Take a look at:

Getting around both in and between the Baltics on the bus network is easy as distances are short.

If you have a Schengen visa you are cleared for the Baltics. You can access information on this through the Visit Estonia website (click on Travel Facts).
