Me and my boyfriend want to visit either Tallinn, or Prague (been there 2 years ago) this easter, but I have some concerns/questions:
How is Tallinn during easter? Do tourists usually pick Tallinn as a destination for easter, or is the city deserted in this period?
Are the museums still open?
Will the shopping centres/malls/clothing stores be open during easter?
All help is appreciated :)

Since no one else has tackled this question, I%26#39;ll have a go.
Tallinn is not overcrowded with tourists compared to Prague at Easter. The main crowding results from cruise tourists, who arrive in flocks in the summer.
You will find more than enough museums open to satisfy most visitors%26#39; appetites.

Easter is not a very big holiday in Estonia. Good Friday and Easter Monday are official red letter days, which means that tost museums are closed on those two days. However there are usually concerts and other events. Neither the city nor the cultural scene would be exactly empty and abondoned. Shopping malls are usually open, regardless of the day. In some cases you might expect shorter opening hours (Christmas, Midsummer Day), but hardly on Easter. Tallinn has just launched a new and quite comprehensive website for tourists, tourism.tallinn.ee You%26#39;ll find more info on the sights and museums there.

Monday is not a public holiday, only Good Fri on the 10th and Sunday on the 12th are. Still museums are normally closed anyway on Monday and most of them are closed on public holidays as well. On 11 Apr. they should be open. You can check about all the museums at:
muuseum.ee/en/…
Malls should be open every day till 9pm.
Little shops- probably some closed, probably some till 6pm.
