Cruise Ship stopping at Tallinn (for 1 day)

Can anyone help or offer any advice?

I%26#39;m in a wheelchair (not a huge thing) and was wondering how or what I/we could do for the day.

We (girlfriend and I) are only there for 1 day so any info would be a great help. Don%26#39;t fancy booking a Cruise tour; being stuck on a coach for 4/5 hours is not that interesting!

Can handle cobbles as my girlfriend comes from Ghent (Belgium) which is a medieval city. Just steps and stairs I have problem with!!

Many thanks in advance for anyones help.

Although some of the public transport is nominally accessible, it%26#39;s not up to the standards you might be used to and probably more hassle than it%26#39;s worth to venture too far.

I wouldn%26#39;t say this is a massive problem though, as there%26#39;s more than enough that you%26#39;ll want to see wandering around the old town.

If you want to see a nice park Kadriorg is rather nice and shouldn%26#39;t pose you any problems. You could get there by a short taxi ride or else the trams highlighted in yellow on the timetable at soiduplaan.tallinn.ee/… should be wheelchair accessible.

If you wanted to see something a bit different to old buildings, the outdoor museum at Rocco al Mare could be worth a visit (albeit you%26#39;d probably want to take a taxi there). It%26#39;s a really lovely place - you could easily believe you were in countryside miles from a city!
