A friend and I are coming to Tallinn for three nights in mid August. Do we need to book B %26amp; Bs in advance? And can we stay anywhere in the Laheema national park? I originally thought of going to Saaremaa but that does not look realistic on public transport given that we only have three full days.

Hi! Depends what kind of BB you want? Cheaper and better ones in the centre of Tallinn - definitely need booking in advance.
Lahemaa-

Hi!
Yes, you need to book in advance.
Where do you want to stay in Tallinn and whats your budget? then I can recommend some BB-s or help you to book. I`m not an agent, just a former worker of travel agency and happen to know places.
with Lahemaa the same thing : as Lahemaa is quite big, where you prefer to stay, in a manor house with higher price or private BB?
with best,
Jaana

Thank you so much Sigster and Jaana for your great tips. Your country looks so beautiful from the photos, I can%26#39;t wait to see it!
We are budget travellers and prefer cheap accomodation. We only require places that are well situated, clean and quiet so we can get a good night%26#39;s sleep. Do you have any suggestions for central Tallinn?
That is good news that we can stay in Laheema and even hire bikes. Are the places easy to reach by public transport? We are looking for cheap B %26amp; B rooms not a hotel.
