English in Estonia

I am trying to learn Estonian before my 3 months there this Summer. I read somewhere that only about 45% of people there speak English...is this true or will I be able to get around pretty well if I%26#39;m not very strong in Estonian? I am learning the basics but I certainly won%26#39;t be fluent by then.

You won%26#39;t have any practical difficulty getting around in English. Any Estonian you learn will be appreciated as few tourists take the trouble, but pretty much everyone working in the tourist industry has enough English to get by and many of them are quite fluent.

most of under 30 speak, I would say 95%. Older more less, because they finished highschool in soviet time and then it wasn%26#39;t so popular. I%26#39;m turning 30 soon and i%26#39;ve studied German, Russian, Finnish in highschool for 3-5 years and English started when I was 9 years old and so do all my friends, so I don%26#39;t know anyone who doesn%26#39;t in my age or younger.
