Tallin bars with good food

We will be visiting Tallinn for 3 nights next weekend and would like any advice on Old Town bars which also do good food. I will be staying at the Uniquestay Mihkli so any good bars in that area would also be appreciated.

in old town thre is Hell Hunt in Pikk street - good food and house beer and reasonable prices and just in next house is also mexican bar called Texas, there is also quite good food!

In hotel Mihkli area there is no bars, only in hotel and brazilian restaurant under the house and chinese food next to the hotel.

If You come out from hotel and turn left You can see a railway crossing the road, about 300 meters downhill, and just after that is one of the biggest shopping center called Kristiine keskus - there You can find all kind of shops, food market and there is also some eating places!

I stayed in the Uniquestay Mihkli in September and the food in the hotel was OK,breakfasts are good and the Brazillian resturant fine, but i wouldn%26#39;t want to eat there all the time.

we were on half board (as part of a baltic tour) and the meals served up to us were basic but filling.

i had a couple of lunches in the Beer House and it was pretty good, very german style food ,but filling and tasty. The Hotel is about a 12-15 minute walk into the old town and you have quite a few options in the area,we had a very good lunch in a resturant on the Town Square (can%26#39;t remember the name of the place)and there is a medieval resturant at the back of the Town House that is supposed to be very good.

We didn%26#39;t try many place near the hotel (there weren%26#39;t many) as the weather was so bad with heavy rain that we didn%26#39;t bother to go out the hotel 2 nights.

tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g274958-i996-k2422… have a look at this thread i have done a small report on some of the bars we visited.
