Hi,
I posted this earlier under my post regarding weather in november, but figured since both posts are unrelated I should start a new post. I am planning to visit Estonia with my husband and 10 mth old baby in the last week of november for a week..a few queries:
1. in november are attractions still open, even though it is not peak season?
2. what time does it get dark?
3. we are thinking of visiting Saaremaa - is it feasible with the weather conditions? will it be difficult to get to the island at this time?
4. we were thinking of hiring a car and driving around, and visiting a few of the National Parks - what will the driving conditions be at that time (ie icy roads?), and also if we wanted to go for short walks (we%26#39;re not serious hikers) with the baby in the National Parks is it better to use a baby back pack or are the walking paths suitable for a strong buggy?
5. is it possible to do day-trips further afield eg tartu/southern estonia, or is it better to say base ourselves in tallinn for a few days, and then tartu?
i think that%26#39;s all for now! Would be grateful for any advice...
thanks a lot!

1.Museums and galleries are open so are theatres so you can explore why Tallinn will be European Captial of Culture 2011
2. 15:00 is already dark
3. You can even fly to Saaremaa with www.estonian-air.ee ships also function in most conditions
4. The local car hires are cheaper than the main brands and are good bargain. Baby back pack is better.
5. Better explore first around Tallinn and then go to southern Estonia because from Tallinn to Tartu is 2,5h driving and if you go back and forth 5 hours are gone and the Tallinn-Tartu road is the deadliest road in Estonia so be careful if you can use the train.
