Hi all, I have booked to go on a small scale guys trip to Tallinn and in researching where to go, it does seem a bit more expensive than i thaught.
Wondering if there are any cheap pubs/restraunts that are also of reasonable (or very good :)) quality.
We would be willing to perhaps take a cab/bus to the outskirts of the city if there was one or too places we could go have food and a few drinks before coming back into the centre to go to a club.
Hollywood seems to be where the tourists go, but Parliment more of a local place (am i right?) we where thinking of spending a night in each to mix it up.
Any advice would be appreciated!

thank you!
to be honest nothing at all looks cheap..is that representative of the whole of estonia or just Tallinn.
My question however is if we where to grab a taxi/bus/train/tram to the outskirts of the city would we be able to get better value?
Does anyone have any ideas how we can eat like kings and avoid very high prices? No sarcastic comments lol.
or is this just wishful thinking
much appreciated

I must admit i only visited the pubs that i mention in the link.we would have been a bit more adventurous but the weather was so bad with heavy rain a couple of nights we didn%26#39;t leave the hotel bar because of it.We stayed not far from the main city center,we did have a look around the area on our first morning there for bars and saw nothing going out of the city.
Most of the time we were in Estonia (5days) we spent it walking in the countryside and did visit a couple of bars in wilds at lunch time that were good and cheap but not that cheap 2 puound a pint type cheap. On the one full day we had in Tallinn itself the rain poured down and we spent most of the day dodging from museum to pub to museum and then back to the hotel, after evening meals finished about 9.00 pm we just went to the hotel bar as it was still pouring of rain outside.
i hope yoy get better weather than we did.

Hello
Just back from Tallinn today. Extremely cold -14C so wrap up warm. There is cold, then there is cold!!
Visited Club Hollywood- really nice place inside, however not my kind of music, far too housey. It was busy and it cost around £5-6 to get in, I think!
Tallinn is beautiful, one of my favourite cities! All bars and clubs are closeby.
I stayed at the Reval Hotel Central( read review). Very good.
There is a nice bar called Island Narva Rd, mnt 7 that has discounted food and drink betwee 1500-1900 then 2-4-1 cocktails between 2000-0000- good food and pleasant staff.
Try Maharastra Indian restaurant also, it%26#39;s not the cheapest, it%26#39;s in the main square, but the food was of a high quality.
PM me if you need further info.
Cheers
