Thinking of visiting Tallinn end of April for 5 days.Wondering what the weather will be like? Upney

Hi
The weather is normally very spring like and pretty but can still be chilly! there is always a lovely smell in the air with all the lovley flowers out!!

Statistically, for the past years the average temperature has been around 4-6 degrees (day+night average). It%26#39;s probably the most unexpected time of year as far as the weather goes.
If the sun is high, then it can be up to +15 or even 18 C. Then again, there has been occasional snow in early May. It%26#39;s far too early to say. Keep an eye on the local sites www.weather.ee or www.ilmajaam.ee Both use local sources and are reliable. The choice depends on which graphics you like best.

|Thanks for the information - a mixture of spring/winter clothes seems to be the order of the day then?

well, winter is quite unlikely. It has happened a few times, but there%26#39;s no need for winter boots and fur coats ;)
But it is an unexpectable time. And very beautiful because of that.

Clothes suitable for an English winter will be quite enough, but also bring some warm-weather stuff - I%26#39;ve sometimes worn shorts in April in Helsinki (50 miles north of Tallinn).

Thanks for the information - I think I will postpone trip until June - when more settled
