My husband %26amp; I are thinking of spending Christmas in Tallinn ~ can anyone advise me as to what we could expect please? Is it a good time of year to go or will everything be closed? What the weather will be like etc. Any information you could give would be helpful.

Hi,
A weather will be cold, thats sure. List time we didnt have White Christmas, but hopefully this year we have.. Tallinn is very nicely decorated, many different lights.. Śmall shops may be closed 25-12.12, but big centers are open.. 24.12 all will close a litte bit earlier and maybe 25.12 they work a half of time, but they do work.
Pubs and restaurants (most of them) will work as well.
Museums may be closed 25-26.12. But 27.12 is a ususal saturday, and then everything is open.
The city is quiet in Cristmas Eve, but its a good time for a nice walk and i think its a goOd time for a visiting, if only the weather is not too cold or wet.
