Length of stay?

Hi all,

Would 3 nights be enough for Tallinn?

Is Hiuuma or Saaremaa worth visiting? Do-able in 1 night?

Three nights will give you a fair taste. But be warned: Tallinn is habit-forming. You will want to come back.

If three nights is all you have, I wouldn%26#39;t recommend an outing to either island unless you fly at least one way. It%26#39;s a longish bus trip and not particularly interesting.

I%26#39;m curious why you say Saaremaa is not very interesting? I was thinking of going there during my 3 months in Estonia...is there not much to do there? I know they have the crater but to me that looked like just a big hole in the ground from the pics on the net. Is there anything entertaining there?

Sorry; I didn%26#39;t make myself clear - it%26#39;s the bus trip that%26#39;s lacking in interest, not Saaremaa itself. I spent a week there myself last year and it was all too short.

The Kaali meteor crater is indeed a hole in the ground, but the more you learn about it the more intriguing it becomes. I found the place stirring on a deep level as well as beautiful.

I don%26#39;t know what you do for entertainment but there is plenty to do on Saaremaa. I just didn%26#39;t think one day there is a sensible investment within our friend damska%26#39;s frame of reference.
