Airport to Uniquestay Tallinn

I wonder if you can all help. Myself and three others are going to Tallinn on the 16th Jan and want to know the quickest and cheapest ways to get to the aforementioned hotel. Uniquestay has quoted 22Euro for the four of us one way - is that fair? We will not have much luggage.

HI,

yes its cheaper by taxi(if the taxidriver wont cheat you). We have 2 Uniqstay hotels, but none of them are not than 5-6 km from Airport.

Starting fee in taxi is 45 EEK, 1 km is 8-12 EEK.

22 EUR is 344 EEK.

Thanks for that. Is there an official taxi company or do I just need to negotiate a price before I get in?

22 euros is a bloody good price from the airport to any hotel regardless of how many people are in the cab,for 4 people that is lesss than 6 euros each, take the price and be grateful some unscrupulous person hasn%26#39;t charged you a lot more.

I stayed in the Uniquestay on Endla a couple of months ago,but had transport arrange with the tour company but 22 euros for that trip ,though not terribly far would seem resonable.

In the Airport are Tulika and Linnatakso, they are official and probobly wont cheat. no negotiones, but charge by taximeter.

If there is 4 of you, then 22 Eur is not very bad also, - you can feel yourselves calmly.

Welcome

most taxies are regular 5 seated cars, so 4 passangers plus taxi driver. some are minibuses for 8 passangers plus driver!

One of Uniquestay is close to my home, and I%26#39;ve never paid over 150 EEk (~10€)from airport to home, and it doesn%26#39;t matter how many people in car (1 or 4). bigger taxies (for 8) cost some more.

and in airport there are contracted taxies only! so take first in line (and only from line!!! some cheaters drive by and make a quick stop to get You on!) if driver speaks English and go!

if the meter goes too high , You have legal right to ask machine printed receipt (if refused -You don%26#39;t have to pay!) or call police (nr is 110) Police takes lately quite seriously all cheating taxidrivers! or ask hotel worker to come talk and react!
