Bus or Train Tallinn to St Petersburg?

Which would you recommend? We will be travelling on Christmas day.

In terms of view, cost, comfort, travel time etc.

Views:

In terms of views I would say if there is lots of snow all you will see is lots of snow.

Joking aside I would recommend train

Costs:

Depends which train ticket you purchase, (1)seat, (2)bed in 4 bed compartment, (3) vip 2 bed compartment.

I would recommeend getting the compartment where there is 4 beds, chance that other two will not be taken.

Comfort:

Train hands down

Travel Time:

Its about the same

Could be a lot of Russian from Tallinn going to St Pete for new year eve so would book early.

please ensure that you have a visa for russia
