Does anyone know how easy it is to get from Tallinn to Moscow by train?
I know it%26#39;s a long journey, my main concern is the ease of getting tickets. Can you just turn up on the day of travel and get a ticket, or is there a need to buy one in advance? If so, what%26#39;s the best way to get an advance ticket?
Many thanks.

Hello,
The train from Tallinn to Moscow goes every day. Departure time from Tallinn at 17:10, arriving to Moscow at 09:20 (next day). Moscow - Tallinn 18:05 - 08:27. Keep in your mind that Moscow time is +1h (in comparison with Estonian time). One way ticket price from 652 EEK till 2958 EEK.
Unfortunately there is no online booking system. If you want to book a ticket in advance, you can do it at the train station or through the travel agency.

what about Tallinn to St. Petersburg. Any advice?

St Petersburg - train traffic has stopped. There are several bus connections per day, check eurolines.ee for schedule. It takes appr 7 hours, ticket costs up to 390 kroons (25€). And I%26#39;m afraid that%26#39;s it. No air-lines.
