Hi there,
We will be going from Tallinn to Helsinki on 30th December and then coming back again from Helsinki to Tallinn on the 2nd of January.
What ferries will be operating then? Will it just be the Supercat and Viking Line? Also, are there often rough weather conditions around then?
We wuill actually fly from Tallinn back home to London on the 2nd of January and was wondering if it%26#39;s a better idea to come back to Tallinn one day earlier than the flight to cater for any rough weather conditions. We don%26#39;t want to be stranded in Helsinki and miss our flight. (Due to the package we booked, it is cheaper to fly from Tallinn than it is to fly from Helsinki, so flying back from Helsinki isn%26#39;t really an option).
Or will the ferries above also run during rough weather conditions because they are bigger?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
In the winter there are only 3 firms operating, they have big ferries and they run every day. If you dont need a cabin, you do not need to prebook a ticket.
Just choose a suitable time and price:
www.eckeroline.ee
www.tallink.ee
www.vikingline.ee
You can ask in harbour, are they curely operating in any day, just to be sure, you can get back to Tallinn.
Superseacat is no longer on business at all..
Welcome
And my very best to London, i miss it!

Thank you Hellin! Much appreciated....Do we need to book a cabin for the trip?

No, you don%26#39;t need a cabin. Depending on which ferry you%26#39;ll choose the trip can take only 1,5 hours. You may spend time in bars or shops instead of cabin.

Thank you for your advice! Appreciate it!
