I am planning to spend a day in Te anau in September, and am planning on visiting the Glow Worm caves. Does anyone know if you need to book tours in advance, or can you just arrange to tour at the time you arrive at the caves? As I will have a car I thought it would make sense to drive to the caves rather than arrange a tour from Te Anau. Thanks
