I will be travelling to Tallinn mid december for 3 days. Will there be snow at this time of year, or just very cold?

Impossible to say. Snow and rain are equally likely, or the time days be just pleasantly crisp. Pack accordingly. All I can say for sure is that hours of daylight will be short.

-10? In Mid-December? I bet you all the Saku you can drink that it%26#39;s warmer than that!

Hi
I was in Tallinn last December 1st to 6th and the coldest it got was -8 degrees. There was only 1 to 2 inches of snow but it was quite icy in places. We had a great time - plenty of mulled wine and fish soup to keep us warm !! Wear plenty of layers and you will be fine.

Can%26#39;t say about snow, but it won%26#39;t be as cold as you think. Really cold weather (e.g. -20) is late Jan and Feb. I%26#39;ve been twice in December and it wasn%26#39;t much colder than the UK. Having said that, pack warm just in case. Every bar has lots of coat hanging space and all clubs have huge cloakrooms (unlike the UK) so wear a thick coat. In fact, you%26#39;ll look silly if you don%26#39;t! You%26#39;ll walk to most places rather than get a cab as the Old Town is small.
