Stopover or day trip

I will be bringing my son to Scandinavia in April and am planning to take a ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn for the day, or I have the option to stopover enroute to Helsinki with a 6 hour flight delay in Tallinn.

Will there be enough time to get from the airport to see the city center with 6 hours in between a flight from Oslo to Helsinki? My son will be 12 years old, so I don%26#39;t anticipate anything more than getting a glimpse of Tallinn.

Hi,

Airport to tallinn Old town takes anywhere from 15mins to 25mins depending upon traffic and traffic lights.

So yes you have time and better than staying at airport for 6 HOURS.....

When getting a taxi from the airport, I would recommend you getting a taxi to bottom of viru street or where domina city hotel is. then I would reocmmend you telling the taxi to come back 1 and 15mins before your flight leaves. so that you dont have to rush around for taxi at last minute.

head to old town sq then maybe onto Toompea Hill

Thanks for the advice and specific suggestions on taxi. We are looking forward to old town. I haven%26#39;t had the chance to do any more research than that so far.
