Alas, we have only one day in Tallinn as part of a cruise. We%26#39;re thinking of doing the go-as-you-please Red Line Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tour.
Where is the port, how near is the nearest Red Line boarding point and what%26#39;s the best way to get to the bus stop from the cruise port?
Do you have a better idea for getting an overview of Tallinn?
Thanks!

There are 3 ports, do you know the name of one you embark in?

Hey,
here is a link to Tallinn%26#39;s map: kaart.tallinn.ee/Tallinn/Show…
I marked Hop on bus stop and if You zoom out a little, then I marked also both Tallinn%26#39;s ports! Actually there are two different: A,B,C terminals are connected to one building and D terminal is another building! A,B,C are about 1 km distance from that bus stop and D is closer a bit.
Main HopHop bus stop is just around the corner onf main entrance to the old town street called Viru. From both ports You should see olso high white Hotel Viru and just start to walk towards it!
I%26#39;ve never used that bus in hometown, but as I%26#39;ve noticed it drives around old town and You see just regular houses, But I think You should do is just take a walk from port to that bus stop and just pass and walk around in old town - it%26#39;s small (1square km) and quite a lot to see!

ouh, didn%26#39;t notice - You come with cruise- then typically there is transportation (bus) ordered from cruis organiser to transport You to central town as cuise port is out of town. And then these bussses stop usually also near that mark I%26#39;ve made to the map.
